Scruffy creativity v. commercial sanitisation

berwick-street-marketPiccadilly Market is fortunate to have the Church of England as landlord and to occupy grade I listed land on which an office block, housing hedge fund managers, can never be built. But it would be sad if our sister market at nearby Berwick Street (which dates back to the 18th century and used to have 150 stalls) transforms into “a grotesque, departure-lounge retail scenario.”

Piccadilly Market was proud to host students from St Paul’s Way Trust School as part of their Enterprise & Employability Programme.

Students ran a stall and sold a number of unique products including jigsaws designed and produced by a year 11 student.
